Ok, I'm a Draco fan, so expect that my recs will include Draco some way, somehow. 6_6 There are soo many good fics out there in the HP fandom that I don't even fav most of them.. X_______X So the ones I remember now are mostly the ones that are WIP, and incomplete. Seriously. So many good fics..... These ones stand out somehow.

Quality of Mercy by mistful  WIP

I'm going to try to convey my feelings on this, but it may not work, because I'll keep saying 'ok' and all that. x_X"" 
But yes, OKAY, let me just say that ANY and probably ALL fics by mistful are worth reading. @_@ They are so addictive, but not in a conventional fandom sense... They are just so good. X_X"" She has a distinctive way of writing that is very difficult to achieve. She never makes any of the characters outright say what they mean or really feel, but the reader just knows, from the writing, what is going on. It just becomes obvious to the reader, hell of a lot of dramatic irony. But her fics are actually pretty light hearted (compared to other fics), and I love her characterization of Harry. For one, he isn't some big hero, with people sense and common sense all intact. He's dense, in denial, angry and can be uncharitable, downright mean at times, even prone to violence. And he is offset by Draco, Draco is my favourite character, and so I like him anyways, but she really gives a different spin on Draco which allows him to still be very in character, and yet makes his snarkiness and personality more understandable. 

One of the things that I like the most in this fic will become obvious to you as you read the fic, armed with the knowledge that I like Draco in practically any slash pairing. This fic has slash, but there is a bit of het, just from the presence of Ginny. Don't get put off, its not really anything big, the real focus still is on slash, it's just that Ginny has a part in the story. 

I would recommend this story even for those who are not HP fans or H/D fans. For those of you who are afraid of bad grammar/writing etc., you won't have a problem with mistful's, since she seems to be rather sensitive about grammar and all that herself.

I'm not going to say anymore on mistful's writing, just that this fic is hillarious, still has H/D and damn, I think its still in progress. X_X"""" But my memory may be shot. Ever wonder what would happen if Draco was sorted in Ravenclaw instead? Well, you're about to find out. XD

Drop Dead Gorgeous by mistful

Antithesis to basically all veela fics out there. I was a little wary since I thought Draco might not take centre stage in this, heheh.... x__x'''' I feel this need to apologize (for my obsession), but I won't. Anyways, being a veela is not all that it's cracked up to be. Sums it up. Hehehe. Reading her fics in this order is actually not a bad idea, I would leave DDG till after I started at least one of the above fics. But that's just me.  H/D and some het-ness that you know you don't have to take seriously anyways.
